New Bus Service to Philadelphia Airport from Lancaster Airport

The Lancaster Airport (LNS), in partnership with American Airlines (American) and Landline, is now offering customers a new option to connect to the carrier’s Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) hub via bus/coach service. Customers can select this travel option when purchasing their American Airlines ticket now for service starting August 16, 2022.

Customers will begin their trip at the Lancaster Airport, where free parking is available. They will then check in with American and go through security screening just as they would for a flight.  Once cleared, passengers will board a Landline vehicle, and depart for PHL. Upon arrival at PHL, customers will deboard airside, enter the terminal and proceed directly to their connecting flight.  No further security screening is needed.  American will transfer customers’ checked bags between Landline’s vehicles and American’s flight network.

The Landline vehicles can accommodate 35 customers, and feature leather seats, Wi-Fi, and power outlets at each seat.  Once the service begins in August, bus departures and arrivals to and from Lancaster will occur twice a day. Buses will depart Lancaster Airport at 6am and 4pm and will arrive at PHL about an hour and 45 minutes later, according to American.  Westbound buses will leave PHL at 10:50am and 8:59pm, respectively.
