UPDATE | March 31, 2026

TSA officers began receiving back pay this week following the Executive Order signed on March 27, 2026. With federal pay resumed, the Lancaster Airport is no longer accepting donations.

The Lancaster Airport extends its sincere thanks to the passengers and community members who generously contributed gift cards to help provide essential items for TSA employees and their families during a period of uncertainty. We also express our continued appreciation to our TSA partners for maintaining safe, secure, and efficient operations throughout this time.

The Lancaster Airport is fortunate and thankful to have a dedicated team of 12 TSA employees. Our community has asked how they can support these employees as they continue working without pay during the March 2026 partial government shutdown. Gift card donations are being collected by the Lancaster Airport Authority and will be distributed by TSA leadership to the impacted staff. Once the partial government shutdown ends, we will no longer be authorized to accept donations.

💳 Donation Guidelines

• Gift cards must be in values of $20 or less.
• Approved gift card categories are gas, groceries, and restaurants.
• We cannot accept cash, prepaid cards (such as VISA), or any donations outside of approved gift cards.

📍 Drop‑Off Location

Gift cards may be dropped off only at the Lancaster Airport Authority offices (Suite G). Suite G is located at the main terminal building before the main entrance. As you approach, turn right along the sidewalk and look for the office with shaded doors and windows.
